Jewellery designer, maker, picture taker, promoter (also mama)… Lola&Cash is my one-woman show – proudly independent and passionately handmade.

My love for creating started young. I grew up with a Mom who loved illustrating paper dolls with quirky outfits of the 70’s. At the same time, my carpenter Dad taught me how to confidently use tools and build things. I loved scratching in Mom’s jewellery box just as much as tinkering in the garage with Dad, and this blend of playful creativity and practical craftsmanship – shaped who I am today.

I worked a corporate job for years, but craved independence. Night classes in different mediums led me to jewellery manufacture… I was hooked. Working in metal & making something beautiful from scratch lit me up and planted the seed for this future dream.

I put together a small home studio and continued practicing after hours, and in 2011 launched Lola&Cash. Within a year, I swapped my office desk for my jewellery bench and never looked back.

Metal feels like the perfect meeting point of my childhood influences – strong and practical, yet full of creative possibilities. I love shaping it into something new, balancing its weight and strength with fine details and organic textures. Working with metal is a mix of precision and imagination, where each piece carries both resilience and beauty.

Today, I design and hand-make quirky, bold, and organic pieces in sterling silver and gold. Statement rings are my obsession, but jewellery in all styles and forms is my passion.

Every piece is made slowly and intentionally in my Cape Town studio using traditional metalsmithing techniques. There are no shortcuts – crafting at my workbench is a meditation that keeps my mind happy. Each jewel is made to be worn, loved, and treasured for years to come.
